Acie Gholston, Jr.

Acie Gholston, Jr., a beloved individual who touched the lives of many was born June 3, 1945 to the late Acie Gholston, Sr. and Emma Williams-Gholston of Franklin County Ashland Community. He departed this life on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA.

He attended the Ashland Community School and at an early age he joined Arnold's Chapel CME Church. He retired from Harmony Grove Mills in Commerce, GA where he worked for several years.

Mr. Gholston was preceded in death by his brother Paul Gholston, Sr. He is survived by his brother Waymon Gholston (Betty Lou) of Commerce, GA and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Acie's life will be celebrated during two significant events. The Funeral Service will be held on July 12, 2023, at New Faith Christian Center located at 402 M L King Jr Dr., Commerce, GA 30529. The service will begin at 2:00 PM. It will be followed by the Burial ceremony at Arnold's Chapel in Commerce, GA.
