Brenda Thomas

Brenda Martin Reed Thomas passed away at Stephens County Hospital on August 14th, 2024. She was born on April 9, 1952, to the late Ervin A. Martin and Nellie B. Martin in Toccoa, GA.

She attended Whitman Street High School. Her home church was Mount Zion Baptist Church for many years. Brenda had a passion for style and loved to shop. Her style extended beyond fashion into her home with interior design. She kept a sewing machine in her room and made beautiful clothes and home decor throughout the years.

Brenda leaves to mourn a son, Richard Reed Jr. and two daughters, Nicole Reed, & Sophia Reed-Primer. Brenda has seven siblings: Willie Martin, Gloria Fuller (Herman), Vincent “Donnell” Martin, Tommy Brown (Maria), Joyce Richie, Freddie Martin (V. Marie), and Lenton Martin. She has seven grandkids: Quentin Reed, Justin Fleming, Oshana Gaines, Cortney Patterson, Quentavius Reed, Richard Reed III, Trent Primer Jr., and C.J. Harbin; and a host of great-grand babies.

In April of 2022, she was honored for working at Walmart in Toccoa, GA, for 30 Years.
