There were tons of love and laughter over the years. Jackie better known by the family as “Boot” given to her by her love, enjoyed being in the presence of her family and friends. Jackie had an infectious laugh and smile that lit the room when she came across your path. To know Jackie is to know her love for being glammed up, from her nails to her clothing, from her lipstick to her long flowing passion twist locks. She was truly a fashion lover and enjoyed dressing up. She had many joys such as dancing, singing (for the Lord), and being such an amazing cook as she enjoyed preparing wholesome meals for her husband and family.
Jackie was a true Christian and lover of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jackie came to Lord at a young age when she was a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Lula, Ga. She joined the choir there as a young teen where she remained a faithful member before uniting with her new home here in Martin, Ga. with Full Gospel Baptist Church.
Jackie gave her soul to the Lord and never turned back. As a Christian woman full of faith, she was known to give God praise wherever and whenever she sought fit. A true soldier in the army, Jackie was not ashamed of the gospel. Praying on her knees nightly for protection over her family and giving thanks for those things the Lord has already done. “BOOT” will truly and surely be missed. She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy all her children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews, countless cousins, extended family, and friends.
