Kevin Canady

Kevin Canady was born on April 20, 1963 in Georgia to proud parents, the late Joseph Lanier White and Rubye Canady White. He departed this life at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center on Thursday, August 11, 2022 in Gainesville, GA after a brief illness.

Kevin's family moved to California where Kevin attended public schools and graduated from Eisenhower Senior High School in Rialto, CA and was known as Mr. Personality. Kevin, being eager to obtain a better life, attended the San Jose State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree and later received a Master of Business Administration degree from the San Francisco State University in California.

He was noted for his interest in sports and Alpha Pi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. where his mission was developing leaders, promoting the brotherhood, and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities.

Kevin was a leader of excellence pursuing his dreams as a business professional in Medical Sales Advance Cardiovascular Systems, and their many subsidiaries in Santa Clara, CA. After many years of working for others, Kevin became an entrepreneur operating as a senior marketing consultant  for Cando Marketing Solutions.

Kevin loved family and hanging out with his fraternity brothers and other friends. He loved being a socialite   and looking forward to working with youths in various sports activities. He was a great cheerleader for his daughter Skylar, an active UCLA volleyball player.

Kevin's father and mother: the late Joseph Lanier White and Ruby Canady Oldyn proceeded him in death. He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved twin son and daughter: Jackson Lafarr Canady of San Francisco, CA and Skylar Raquel Canady who is studying abroad in France; a daughter Alexandra Renee Martin Canady of Euless, TX; a special friend, Angel Alicia Smith of San Francisco, CA; two sisters: Diana Banks (Walter) of Boiling Springs, SC, Joan Lanier White of Winston Salem, NC and two brothers: Carlton Lanier White of Winston Salem, NC; a loving aunt, Lessie Canady Lasseter of Toccoa, GA; two dear cousins: Otis Canady of Toccoa, GA and Grace Davis of Woodbridge, VA; several nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, friends and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. brothers.
