Lynda Gail Lockwood Davis

Mrs. Lynda Gail Lockwood Davis passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, following a brief illness.

She was born on January 1, 1952, in Clarkesville, Georgia to the late Theodore Lockwood, Sr. & Jennie Bel Lockwood. She was the eighth of nine children born to the union of the marriage.

Lynda was educated in the Habersham County Public School System graduating from North Habersham High School in 1969. She continued her education upon graduation studying at North Georgia Technical College, she was employed for a number of years with Morito "Scovill" Americas in Clarkesville, Georgia. She later worked a number of years at Zanzo Italian Café here in Clarkesville, Georgia.

She was a member of Daes African Methodist Episcopal Chapel in Clarkesville, Georgia. It was there that at an early age she was introduced to and learned to love Our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

 She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mr. & Mrs. Theodore (Jeannie Bel) Lockwood, Sr., her beloved sisters Mrs. Annie Marie Calloway (Cleveland, Ohio), Mrs. Alberta Russell (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida), Mrs. Lola Putman Holt (Gainesville, Georgia), and Mrs. Synoria Poole Brock (Toccoa, Georgia); and her beloved brothers, Mr. Henry Frederick Lockwood (Clarkesville, Georgia), Mr. Theodore "Ted" Lockwood, Jr. (Winder, Georgia) and Mr. Donald B. Lockwood (Oakwood, Georgia).

 Lynda was married to Henry "BoBo" Davis for many years. To the union of this marriage was born three (3) children.

 She leaves to cherish her memories her only beloved daughter, Leana Bradley, Clarkesville, GA; her beloved sons, Willie Jones of Alpine, Utah, Trey Davis of Clarkesville, Georgia, and Lebron Davis of Cornelia, Georgia. Her beloved grandchildren, Shuntea Lovel, Bryan (Lizzy) Jones, Marcus (Charmin) Jones, Shielyn (Dalton) Lartiscey, Jaslyn Jones, Kayla Nichole D'haiti, Gregory Bradley, Christopher Martin Davis, Breanna Davis. Seven (7) beloved great-grandchildren. One Brother, Mr. Bary C. Lockwood of Miami, Florida, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
