Walter Lee Morgan

March 7, 1950 — February 22, 2025

Marietta, GA

Walter Lee Morgan, 74, beloved husband, treasured father, and cherished grandfather, passed away peacefully in his home on February 22, 2025.

Walter was born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia, to the late Jack and Betty Morgan. He was truly dedicated to the love of his life, Teresa Elaine. They married on March 18, 1969, and soon after welcomed their children. He devoted 30 years to Milliken. After moving to Marietta, GA, in 2005, he worked at Cobb County Transit System as a bus driver until retirement in 2024. Walter was a sweet, compassionate person, honest with strong moral principles, and a man of full body, mind, and integrity.

He was quiet and spoke when he was spoken to. He was funny and can make you laugh until you cry, he was also very serious and didn't like a lot of play and foolishness but if you needed him, he was there.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents and son Mandrill. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Elaine Morgan; his son, Walter (Sheral) Morgan [Diana]; his daughter, Larissa Morgan; and ten grandchildren: Robin (Scott) Miller [Myke], Osha [Allison], Tamarin, Jarvis [Aja], Zipporah, Tyrone, Zemira, Amez, Rajah, and Liala. He also leaves behind five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
